Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Dr. Curtis Wildes, and I am a Sports Medicine/Athletic Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Applied Sports Performance Psychophysiologist here in Las Vegas.
Over my 20-year career as a provider I have had the opportunity to travel the world with incredible organizations such as the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, USA-National teams such as USA Volleyball, USA Speedskating, USA Luge, Bobsled/Skeleton, Baltimore Orioles, Real Salt Lake FC, the United States Air Force as a medical provider. Currently I am supporting Taylor Swift's Eras Tour as the sports medicine provider as well as providing residency support for the Wynn Las Vegas - Awakening.
During my time here in Las Vegas I have had the pleasure of working with various local shows, headline artists, staff, performers, and technicians on the following productions as a sports performance therapist: Wynn Las Vegas - Awakening, Cirque du Soleil - Love, KA, Mystere & O, Ricky Martin – ALL IN Residency, Brittney Spears – Piece of Me Residency, Gwen Stefani – Just a Girl Residency, Derek Hough – No Limit Residency, Magic Mike Live, X-Country, Zombie Burlesque, Chip n’ Dales.
While working both domestically and internationally, I gained an eclectic set of clinical and operational insights that have helped structure the multi-disciplinary and integrative approach we used to provide the best quality care to elite athletes.
Evolution is a major contributor of our success and thus propelled me towards completing my second doctorate degree, a PhD in Applied Psychophysiology: Human Performance and Optimization. With a focus on the fusion of mental/sports psychology performance skills with sports medicine to decrease injury occurrence and speed injury management. Ultimately reducing the time loss associated with a musculoskeletal injury.
